Hi, we’re Ellie and Braxton.

A husband-and-wife therapy team, two clinical social workers who are genuinely, unabashedly nerdy about this work, and the people behind Let's Chatt.

We built this practice in 2024 because we wanted to do one thing really well: provide the highest quality, most evidence-based care we possibly could. We haven't wavered on that since.

Who We Help:

Between the two of us, we work with a wide range of people: therapists carrying the weight of the work, men navigating emotions and relationships, people living with OCD who need a specialist who truly gets it, and folks who are simply ready to get to know themselves more deeply and grow into whoever they're becoming next. Not sure who's the right fit? That's what we're here for.

Our approach is evidence-based, practical, and grounded — we're not here to do therapy with you forever.

From the start, you can expect regular treatment plan reviews, honest check-ins on progress, and a shared commitment to actually getting somewhere.

We both trained and spent our early careers in an academic hospital setting, which gave us deep experience across inpatient and outpatient care. We're comfortable managing crises when they arise, and we know how to connect people to the right level of care when the situation calls for it.

Our work is rooted in ACT, DBT, and CBT. Braxton supplements his approach with existential psychotherapy, EMDR, and IFS. Ellie integrates ERP for OCD treatment. The details of how we each work live on our individual pages — but the short version is: we're big nerds about the methods we use, because we've seen them actually work.

Our Philosophy:

We believe a good therapist is someone you can be genuinely open with — and that means we're committed to building a space that is nonjudgmental, curious, and real. We want to understand who you are and how you operate, so we can help you change what you actually want to change.

We also take the therapeutic relationship itself seriously as a practice ground. We'll model healthy boundaries and assertive communication — not just talk about them. You'll have room to try those skills with us, in real time, in a relationship that's designed to hold that.

You've got this. And we'll be your most committed teammate in figuring out what that looks like.

The practical stuff…

Both Braxton and Ellie offer in-person sessions in the Hill City Neighborhood in North Chattanooga and virtual sessions. We're licensed in Tennessee, which means if you're in the state, or can be in the state during your session, you're eligible. (We see you, north Georgia neighbors.) We accept insurance and use Headway to handle verification and benefits processing. If you're uninsured or prefer to use private pay, that's absolutely an option. Reach out to your preferred provider directly to learn more about sliding scale fees.
