Hey there!
I’m so glad you’re here. Therapy can feel intimidating, overwhelming, or just plain confusing and my goal is to make it practical, brain-friendly, and yes, a little fun. I treat therapy like physical therapy for your brain: noticing which parts are overworking or stuck, and helping you build skills so your mind and body feel lighter.
I really love working with OCD and anxiety. Part of that means getting curious about the “maybe it will, maybe it won’ts” of life and practicing how to sit with uncertainty instead of avoiding it. Part of it means noticing the serial killer in your closet thoughts (seriously, think about it for a second and notice what your body starts to do in response!). That’s what experiential work in therapy looks like with me: we practice, you notice, you learn, and your brain gets stronger.
I’m endlessly fascinated by the brain and can’t wait to share the tips, tricks, and exercises I’ve learned over years of training and practice. We’ll start small, build skills that actually work in day-to-day life, and practice them in-session so you feel confident using them on your own. Therapy with me is collaborative, practical, and human, and I promise, no emotional marathons required.
If you’re ready to stop letting your thoughts run the show and start experimenting with what your brain can do, you’re in the right place. You can schedule a complimentary consultation below, or jump right into a full session! I can’t wait to meet you!
What I do…
-
First session: Initial diagnostic evaluation & treatment plan. I get to know who you are, how you got here, and the environment your brain learned in. Together, we’ll make a collaborative treatment plan, identify goals, estimate how long we’ll work together, and decide session frequency (weekly, twice-weekly, biweekly, monthly—you name it).
Subsequent sessions: Check-in, skill building, processing, practice, and sometimes homework to keep your progress moving between sessions.

Ideal for partners navigating relationship stressors, communication, and connection.
-
Great for adolescent work or when multiple family members’ involvement is helpful.
-
During this quick consultation, we:
Check fit and scope of practice—make sure what you want to work on aligns with my training and experience.
Discuss next steps, even if that’s a referral to another therapist. (I love connecting you to colleagues and keeping your momentum going, even if we aren’t starting together.)
This is a great opportunity to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and see if we’re a good match before scheduling your first session.
Your Questions, Answered

I accept United Healthcare (UHC)/Optum and Aetna!
I also offer a sliding fee scale for clients who need financial flexibility. If you’re interested, just reach out and we’ll chat- no judgment, no hoops, just a conversation about what’s feasible so we can focus on your brain, your goals, and making progress.
-
Individual sessions are 55 minutes. Couples and family sessions are 90 minutes. I also offer a 15–20 minute complimentary consultation via telehealth.
-
Your first session is a diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning session. I’ll learn about your history, how you got here, and what your brain learned along the way. Together, we’ll make a collaborative plan, identify goals, and decide on session frequency.
-
Each session includes check-in, skill-building, processing, practice, and often homework. The idea is to give you autonomy and confidence in regulating when stressful situations arise.
-
Yes! Ask me about my intensive packages, they’re designed for people who want a faster, focused approach to making progress.
-
That’s what the complimentary consultation is for! We’ll talk about fit, scope of practice, and next steps. Even if we decide it’s not a perfect match, I can connect you with other incredible colleagues so you don’t lose momentum. (This applies for a few sessions into our work too- at any point you can say “Ellie, I am not sure this is a good fit” and we’ll process it and get you connected!

Private pay allows us to tailor your plan to your life. Weekly, twice-weekly, biweekly, or monthly, we can adjust as needed.
